The board considered educator contract-release requests and related items listed on the agenda under Texas Education Code provisions. Each release request was presented as a separate motion by Trustee Bud Shamblin and seconded by Trustee Melvalynn Jones. The board approved the release motions for Mindy Farris, Melissa Martinez and Rachel Lanteigne by unanimous 7-0 votes.
