The Jones County Board of Supervisors voted Aug. 4, 2026, to appoint Joel Lasack to fill a vacancy on the Eminent Domain Commission. The appointment specifies Mr. Lasack as a banker having knowledge of property and real estate values. The motion was moved by Supervisor Hall and seconded by Supervisor Schlarmann; the record shows a unanimous vote: “All aye. Motion carried.”
