Commissioner John Mefford reviewed the city's December financial report, including bills to be paid and the balance sheet. He told the Commission there "was a $52,000 payment made to GovOS in December for an annual payment in which the city is in the fourth year of a five-year contract," and noted the city received about $58,870 in interest for the month and just over $250,000 for the fiscal year. He also reported real property taxes at roughly 94% of budget and that PILOT payments will cause a notable drop in February when funds are disbursed to designated jurisdictions.
