On July 27, 2026, the Village of Roberts board approved Ordinance No. 2026-03VB, creating Section 66-121 of the municipal code to permit Tax Incremental District (TID) charges to be used to pay for water system projects the village is currently undertaking. The motion to approve the ordinance was made by board member Brian Tremblay and seconded by Mary Shemon; a roll-call vote recorded Tim Johnson, Janelle Beal, Scott Gerhardt, Mary Shemon, Katy Kapaun and Brian Tremblay as voting "yes."
