Aletha King, the county zoning official, told the board that Planning & Zoning recommended denying GW Livestock’s conditional-use permit applications because they did not meet the Palo Alto County Good Neighbor Policy. The board adopted motions to deny the two permits — one for Section 4 and one for Section 24 of Lost Island Township — on Aug. 11; each motion carried with unanimous recorded votes.
