Staff told the board that Lincoln Wood Products of Merrill has offered to provide replacement windows for the library building and that local volunteers organized by a staff contact will install them. The windows have been delivered and installation will be scheduled for late summer or early fall when weather conditions allow.
Board members welcomed the donation and thanked staff for coordinating the volunteer installers. No budgetary commitment was required; the board will monitor scheduling and any incidental costs associated with installation.
"Okay. So Lisa already got that. So the windows are here. Now we're just gonna wait for the weather or not to be sold. And then they'll get started on that later this summer, early fall," staff said in the briefing.
