Following executive-session deliberations, the council approved an incentive package to attract Roxy's, a family-style restaurant, to Buda. Jennifer Storm presented the recommended package: a 25% rebate of city sales tax for three years not to exceed $37,500, expedited permitting and EDC reimbursement of city permit fees up to $10,000; the total package was described as under $50,000 (Storm, SEG 4916–4927).
