The committee reviewed and approved the Land & Water Conservation Department’s 2027 staffing requests, which include the LWRM (Land and Water Resource Management) Plan Project Coordinator (state‑mandated, partly grant funded with county levy component), two LWRM Plan Conservation Project Assistant positions (state‑mandated and fully grant funded), and staffing for the AIS (Aquatic Invasive Species) program (fully state funded).
