Finance panel earmarks $20M for THDA pilot to spur workforce housing

The committee adopted a finance amendment that earmarks a $20 million one-time nonrecurring appropriation for a THDA-administered pilot to support public–private workforce housing projects serving households between 80% and 150% of area median income. Sponsors said the program targets fast-growth areas where single-family home prices are highest.
