Drexel Heights board authorizes agreement with Banner for medical direction and training
The Drexel Heights Fire District board voted 4-0 on March 28, 2025 to authorize the fire chief to execute an agreement with Banner University Medical Group to provide medical direction and training, with board members clarifying the arrangement would include education but would not replace internal procedures.

The Drexel Heights Fire District Governing Board authorized the fire chief to sign an agreement with Banner University Medical Group for medical direction and training after a unanimous 4-0 vote on March 28, 2025. Clerk James Bertrand moved to authorize the agreement and Laura Dailey seconded; the motion passed with Doug Fink, Laura Dailey, James Bertrand and Elaine Aldrete voting yes.
