During public comment, Planning Board member Liz reported that a large branch fell at the Transfer Station after a storm and is currently blocking the cardboard trailer; she asked the Highway Department to assist with removal. Liz also said power would need to be run underground to the proposed compactor location, which could be costly and make the cardboard compactor infeasible under the current grant plan. "Because of this, the cardboard compactor may not be feasible," Liz said, adding she would ask the town's recycling representative whether grant funds could be used for recycling hauls instead.
