Highway committee approves order for three heavy trucks for 2028–2029 delivery
The committee approved ordering two quad-axle trucks and one single-axle truck (2027 models) with plow equipment, to be funded from the highway capital improvement plan and delivered in 2028–2029. Motion by Bob Wolf, seconded by Dave Behrend; motion carried.

The Highway Committee voted to authorize ordering two quad-axle and one single-axle 2027-model trucks equipped with plows, with delivery expected in 2028–2029. Highway Commissioner Brandon Hytinen said funding will come from the department’s capital improvement plan and estimated costs applying a 5% inflation factor for budgeting.
