Board authorizes Valley Street change orders; member objects over approach to extra work

HDR engineer Chris Korkowski told the board the Valley Street Project is ahead of schedule and that a payment application is expected in September. He asked the board to authorize the chair or vice chair to sign two change orders: to increase the number of replanted trees and to allow Excavating, Inc. to haul off excess cut material at no additional cost to the board.
