The Clarendon City Council on May 14 adopted a resolution authorizing intervention in AEP Texas Inc.'s application to amend its Rider Mobile Temporary Emergency Electric Energy Facilities before the Public Utility Commission. The resolution authorizes cooperation with other cities served by AEP Texas and hires Lloyd Gosselink attorneys and consulting services to negotiate with the company and direct necessary litigation and appeals.
