Ferris ISD trustees unanimously approved the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) recommendation to adopt an SB9 prevention program during the Nov. 18 meeting. Trustee Richard Sasser moved to approve the recommendation and Trustee Misty Koerkenmeier seconded; five trustees voted yes.
