The Fort Sam Houston Independent School District board opened its meeting with student-led pledges and special recognitions, then heard an extended inspirational moment from a culinary student about leadership and community. Superintendent Dr. Bates introduced Rose Chambers and Bear Wilson as pledge speakers and introduced Ethan Perez from the culinary program.
