Philip, a county staff member, asked the commission to approve a temporary part-time custodian to cover an employee out for medical reasons and to support cleaning needs if new office leases proceed. He said the current request is for a part-time position "just until" the full-time employee returns but that the post could roll to regular part-time staffing if leases for new offices are finalized.
