The board recognized the Joshua ISD 18+ Adult Transition Services program and its Balloon Away + business during the Nov. 18 meeting. The minutes note the initiative was established in May 2023 with a work-based learning grant from Texas A&M's Center on Disability and Development and that students operate a self-sustaining business producing personalized balloon grams, centerpieces and spirit grams.
