Canton supervisors adopt resolution opposing data centers
The Canton Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to add to the agenda and adopt a resolution opposing data centers during new business on April 9, 2026.

During the April 9 meeting the board discussed concerns about data centers and took formal action, first voting to add a resolution opposing data centers to the agenda and then adopting that resolution. Both motions were moved by Supervisor Tom Bodnovich, seconded by Supervisor Vickie Fields, and carried unanimously (Main-yes, Bodnovich-yes, Fields-yes).
