The Connally ISD board voted Feb. 12 to postpone indefinitely consideration of an Order Calling for a Board of Trustees election after a presentation by Superintendent Jill Bottelberghe; the motion passed with five trustees voting in favor and two absent.

At a Feb. 12 special meeting, the Connally ISD Board of Trustees voted to postpone indefinitely an Order Calling for a Board of Trustees election. Superintendent Jill Bottelberghe presented information on the item; Board President Steven Carter moved to postpone indefinitely and Trustee Heather McCarty-Johnston seconded the motion. The motion carried with votes recorded for Steven Carter, Heather McCarty-Johnston, Keith Lowrey, Diane Davis and Kathy Coker. Trustees Danny Raines and Keith Black were absent.
