County data dashboards and RRI: Director urges subcommittee to define data requests
Director Clark Bernhardt told the Racial Disparities Subcommittee that Dane County's CJC dashboards aggregate cross-agency data and asked members to identify cohorts or indicators they want added; Bernhardt noted the dashboards are public on the CJC page at danecounty.gov and said some analyses previously led to a $600,000 grant.

Director Clark Bernhardt asked the subcommittee on Aug. 11 to examine the Community Justice Council racial-disparities dashboards and identify missing indicators or cohorts for further analysis. "Data is only powerful when people use it," Bernhardt told members, describing data-sharing agreements his office has with the District Attorney, Sheriff, courts and others that enable cross-system dashboards.
