Bellevue commission recommends replacing extraction zoning with Eaton County surface-mining rules

At its Oct. 1, 2025 meeting the Village of Bellevue Planning Commission voted to recommend that the village replace ordinance §155-17.13, which governs extraction operations, with Eaton County's Section 14.25 Surface Mining ordinance. The motion was made by S. Roberts, seconded by R. Pulliam, and the minutes record the action as carried.
