Committee strikes proposed reporting and funding-disclosure items after debate

The subcommittee considered a proposal to require recipients of opioid settlement funds to submit reports twice per year on spending and program outcomes and to develop more standardized reporting. Members debated cadence, who would receive the reports, whether the reports already exist in contractual reporting to departments, and whether a formal recommendation to require disclosures of other funding sources should be forwarded to Health and Human Needs.
