City manager reports Bridge-to-Bridge path engineering underway; EPA testing at Moring site
City Manager Darin DeHaan told commissioners engineering has begun on the Bridge-to-Bridge walking path, the city was previously denied an ITEP grant, crosswalks on Route 64 have approvals, the Oregon Park District faces ADA issues for a path to Lowden Park, and the EPA is conducting spot testing at the old Moring property on 1st Street.

City Manager Darin DeHaan told the Planning Commission that engineering work for the Bridge-to-Bridge walking path began on Friday. He said the city's application for an ITEP grant a couple of years ago was denied, but the city has already gained approval for pedestrian crosswalks on Route 64 at the bridge and by McDonald's.
