Sheriff Mike Wilder reported Aug. 10 that the sheriff's office successfully moved into its new security center and transferred approximately 113 inmates during a single operation last Thursday. Wilder said the move was kept quiet for security and ran from about 7 a.m. until midafternoon; staff are now addressing operational "hiccups" such as plumbing usage patterns and routine maintenance.
