Natalie Eckhardt‑Doupe, Interim Human Resources Director, presented a position requisition to rehire a former Josephine County deputy at the Advanced Deputy Patrol classification. She said the candidate previously worked for the county for approximately six years before accepting employment with Jackson County and that the hire would be the first Advanced Deputy since before 2021.
