The Pacific Elementary School District Board of Trustees formally elected its officers for the coming year at its Dec. 17 meeting, choosing Gwyan Rhabyt as president, Cari Napoles as vice president and Eric Gross as secretary. The motion to appoint officers passed with a roll-call vote recorded as 2 in favor, 0 opposed, 0 abstentions and 1 absence; Ms. Napoles moved and Mr. Rhabyt seconded.
