The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors discussed a proposed resolution intended to renew and reaffirm the county's support for the 2nd Amendment on May 12. The resolution references the U.S. Constitution's Second Amendment, Article I, Section 13 of the Virginia Constitution, a prior December 2019 county resolution and the U.S. Supreme Court decision in New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen (05/2022).
