Douglas County approves plats and several conditional-use permits with conditions
The Douglas County Board approved a preliminary plat for Irene's Sunny Brook First Addition, a final plat for Pine Haven First Addition, and conditional-use permits including Penta LLC (outdoor storage), Joshua J. Peterson (chickens, up to 25) and Billy and Dana Pazdernik (livestock), each with site-specific conditions and unanimous votes.

The Douglas County Board on May 5 approved multiple land-use items including a Preliminary Plat for Irene's Sunny Brook First Addition (Miltona Township) subject to two conditions requiring soils investigations for Type 1 septic systems and that Lot 1 include screening and stormwater facilities for a permitted mini‑storage facility. The board also approved the Final Plat for Pine Haven First Addition.
