The Newark City Council on Nov. 21 voted to decline a permit to move a used mobile home onto 101 Deborah Drive. Homeowner Alejandro Aldape Chavez appeared with Deputy Trinidad of the Wise County Sheriff's Office translating; Chavez requested the council’s permission to place a used home on the lot.
