Quay County adopts separate holiday schedule for first responders

The Board of Quay County Commissioners voted unanimously July 27 to adopt Resolution No. 7, establishing a separate holiday observance schedule for personnel designated as first responders. The action, requested by HR Director Andrea Page and approved by motion, states that employees in continuous‑operations departments will observe holidays on the actual legal holiday rather than the county's observed schedule.
