The Douglas County Administration Committee on Aug. 6 approved a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Use Policy and referred it to the County Board for final consideration. The minutes state that a work group composed of County and City human resources staff, the County Administrator and Information Technology staff will collaborate to finalize the policy and ensure it outlines accurate, ethical use of AI.
