County OKs $3,000 speaker agreement for 'Keeping Us in the Field' training

The Board authorized the president of the Board to sign a Speaker Agreement between Mighty Crow Media LLC and the Ottawa County Family and Children First Council to engage Gretchen Clark Hammond as the speaker for the "Keeping Us in the Field: Understanding Secondary Trauma, Compassion Fatigue and Resilience" event to be held Nov. 4–5, 2026. The agreement is for a flat fee of $3,000. The Executive Director of the Family and Children First Council recommended the action; the Prosecuting Attorney approved the agreement form. Commissioner Donald A. Douglas moved the motion; Commissioner Mark E. Coppeler seconded. Vote: Mark W. Stahl, yes; Donald A. Douglas, yes; Mark E. Coppeler, yes.
