Code Enforcement reported that the new energy codes are scheduled to go into effect in 2026 and that October, November and December will be a transition period while staff seek clarifications about elimination of some fuels; minutes state wood and coal will remain acceptable forms of heat. The department also scheduled yearly harassment/violence training for Nov. 17 at 5 p.m.
