The Council considered two applicants for a Planning Commission opening, Mark Courtney and John Farwell. Both candidates gave brief overviews of their qualifications and why they wished to serve; after discussion, President Newnam moved to appoint Mark Courtney and Commissioner Daniel Deakins seconded. The appointment was approved unanimously.
