Trails Committee asks Board to pursue reopening multi-use trail; DEC prohibits motorized use

John Winterton, Trails Committee Chair (Snowmobile), told the board he would like to see the Trail reopened so "multiple users can make use of the Trail, snowmobilers, walkers, hikers, horseback riders." He asked whether permit or insurance issues could be addressed and noted NYS snowmobile policy that snowmobiles are not always considered a motorized vehicle.
