The Vergennes City Council approved several reappointments and appointments to the Development Review Board at the July 28 special meeting. Alderman Melvin Hawley moved to reappoint Lowell Bertrand, Amy Yuen and Mabrouka M’Barek (alternate) for terms Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2028; to appoint Glen Rossier and Penny Austin for terms Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2027; and to appoint Sue Clark for a term Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2028. Alderman Mark Koenig seconded the motion. The minutes state: "Approved 4-0 with Deputy Mayor Austin abstaining."
