Coffee County Election Commission approves amended July 16 minutes, 5-0
At its Aug. 6, 2026 meeting in Manchester, the Coffee County Election Commission approved amended minutes from July 16 after Chairman William Bates revised an item to state, “The Commission approved a list of acceptable name spellings.” The motion, moved by Secretary Barbara Arp and seconded by Commissioner Larry McIntosh, passed 5-0.

The Coffee County Election Commission approved amended minutes from its July 16, 2026 meeting during a session in Manchester on Aug. 6, 2026. Chairman William Bates amended the proposed minutes to add the sentence, “The Commission approved a list of acceptable name spellings,” to item 4; Secretary Barbara Arp moved to approve the minutes as amended and Commissioner Larry McIntosh seconded the motion.
