Board President Joseph J. Palermo opened the Lewiston-Porter Board of Education meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2026, and the board proceeded into a budget workshop that the district said would focus on goals, parameters and priorities for the coming year. Assistant Superintendent Scott M. Hoot and Superintendent Paul J. Casseri led the opening remarks to frame the work session.
