Committee backs forwarding MOU with Valley Heights Sanitary District for infrastructure study
City staff will help the Valley Heights Sanitary District with an engineering RFP and selection process for a study funded by the district to determine what is needed to install a new water system for properties on the hill; the committee recommended the MOU to council.

Doug Curry, military affairs director, told the committee the memorandum of understanding with Valley Heights Sanitary District covers cooperation on a study—paid for by the sanitary district—to determine what would be required to install a new water system for hilltop properties. "This doesn't cost us anything, But it does get us that documentation that shows what the right infrastructure would be to replace what's currently installed," Curry said.
