As part of routine calendar management the commission and staff agreed to shuffle fall hearing dates so the Montecito Planning Commission hearings and County Planning Commission schedule align with a long‑range planning streamlining ordinance package. Staff proposed a special County Planning Commission hearing on Oct. 21 (with Oct. 28 as a contingency if additional time is needed), a Sept. 30 workshop starting at 1 p.m., and cancellation of the Oct. 7 and Oct. 14 County Planning Commission meetings.
