Duval County commissioners considered and ultimately tabled an item proposing to allocate money from prior tax-collection funds to amend the budget and pay retroactive stipends of $250 per pay period for Risk Management, Human Resources and Assistant Grant Services for Jan. 1–Sept. 30, 2026. Commissioner Martin M. Perez (Pct. 4) moved the item and Commissioner Adalberto M. Vera (Pct. 2) seconded. The meeting minutes indicate the item was tabled.
