Council advances CDBG downtown-rehabilitation application and adopts program guidelines
Following a brief public hearing, the Council approved CDBG Downtown Revitalization program guidelines, adopted a resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign the city's CDBG application for commercial façade rehabilitation, and appointed the Economic Development Board as the DTR committee.

A public hearing on the City’s application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (NDEE) for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to address commercial façade rehabilitation opened at 5:02 p.m. and closed at 5:04 p.m. Brittany McCullough of the Southeast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) reiterated the application terms as described in the notice of public hearing.
