The proposed data center drew both support and opposition in public comment to the Barber County Board of Commissioners in July. "Jeimeson Saudino, Business Manager/Financial Secretary, IBEW Local Union 271 spoke about the benefits of the Data Center," the minutes record at the July 13 meeting. Later public commenters including Mason Eck and Lorelei McFarland spoke against the data center at the July 27 meeting.
