A member of the public raised a proposal to consolidate vacation and sick leave into a single paid time off (PTO) bank and to evaluate short‑ and long‑term disability as supplemental coverage. The commenter argued employees sometimes use sick days for vacation and said a PTO bank would simplify leave: "So just make it all PTO." (Committee member, S3).
