Powhatan supervisors elect Dinotti chair, adopt rules and code of ethics
At the Jan. 27 organizational meeting the Powhatan County Board elected Bill Dinotti Jr. chair and appointed the vice chair by roll call. The board also adopted updated rules of procedure and a code of ethics that clarify public comment and decorum rules.

The Powhatan County Board of Supervisors completed its annual organizational business on Jan. 27, nominating and electing Bill Dinotti Jr. as chair (resolution R2025‑01) and approving the vice‑chair nomination by roll call. Votes were recorded for each seat during the organizational portion of the meeting.
