Legislature schedules public hearings on multiple Pure Waters and sewer projects
Monroe County introduced several Pure Waters and sewer-district capital projects and scheduled public hearings for Feb. 10, 2026; many resolutions were tabled for introductory purposes after unanimous committee recommendations.

On Jan. 13 the Legislature introduced a series of capital projects affecting Pure Waters and multiple sewer districts — including NWQPWD general pump station and treatment plant improvements, NWQ WRRF electrical improvements, aeration and preliminary treatment improvements, and collection system upgrades for Gates‑Chili‑Ogden and Rochester Pure Waters districts. Most of the resolutions were presented for introductory purposes and tabled, and public hearings were scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 at specific times recorded in the resolutions.
