Monroe’s Common Council approved an ordinance amending the city code’s parking requirements for townhomes, multiplexes and apartments across the NMU, MR‑15 and MR‑30 zoning districts. The ordinance repealed and recreated multiple subsections to remove a 0.5‑space requirement for bedrooms over two and to require two parking spaces per unit.
