Commission votes unanimously to end Ft. Benning stray facility contract

The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County voted unanimously Nov. 4 to end its contract with the Ft. Benning stray facility after saying the vendor could not meet the requirements of the intergovernmental service agreement. The motion to end the contract was made by Commissioner Gerald Douglas and seconded by Commissioner Jason Frost; the board recorded a unanimous vote of approval.
