Committee extends Eckhart Park timeline; playground and bathhouse funding outlined
Members approved an extension to allow Eckhart Park to finalize design (new deadline 09/15/2026). Staff said the playground will be funded roughly $400,000 from TID 6 and the bathhouse project combines private donations, a WEDC state grant and TID 6 funding.

Amy (S2) briefed the committee on Eckhart Park design delays and asked for an extension so the city can finalize a new design and proceed to construction next season. After discussion about designer selection and timing, the committee voted to extend the project deadline to Sept. 15, 2026.
